Description

In the first ever installment of the Gruncle's Movie Month Podcast, Gruncle Mustache and his Nephew Elliot take on their first four films. This week they watched the psychological thriller, Klute (1971), the wartime melodrama, The Cranes are Flying (1957), the espionage drama, Army of Shadows (1969) and the meta-biopic, Jacquot (1991). With this episode having been recorded in January, we did not foresee how prescient our wartime picks were at the time. Hopefully our conversations help give some filmic context to current global events, or at least provide a welcome distraction from all the craziness.
