I keep hearing that the wealthy are buying rental properties in hot markets even though they have a negative cashflow because they are looking for appreciation on the value of the property. They’re gambling that by buying the more-expensive and trendy location, it’ll pay off for them in the long run. So the question is, should you replicate this strategy and follow them, or should we use another strategy?  

In this episode I'm going to break down the pros and cons of both strategy and lay out which method is best suited for your financial goals. I own many cash-flowing rental properties myself and have seen many of those properties increase in value over the years, so trust me when I say I know what I'm talking about!
