As we all know, the war between Ukraine and Russia has been raging over the last few months. Witnessing how this new global conflict got us thinking…how do we as black Americans truly feel when our nation is involved in conflict beyond our borders? When it feels like the American war machine has just as often been at war with black Americans, women, and other minority groups how do we negotiate our feelings when America is involved either directly or indirectly in conflict.
