Description

We would like to take this time to dedicate this introduction to each and every life lost in senseless mass shootings and hate crimes around the country. Our condolences to both family and friends who’ve lost loved ones in any mass shootings. Innocent citizens, young and old have lost their lives time and again in these killing sprees while we’ve seen virtually no change in gun legislation throughout the USA. Tonight we pay tribute to these lives and discuss how mass shootings are affecting our lives today.

If you or anyone you know finds themselves in a mental health crisis situation, some resources  we suggest contacting are: The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). SAMHSA is a national helpline. It’s free, confidential, open 24/7, and 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service. Their helpline number is +1 (800) 662 HELP Or you can reach out to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) through their by calling +1 (800) 950 NAMI Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 10 pm. Or if you are in an emergency situation, you can call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline which is open 24/7 by dialing 800-273-TALK (8255).
