Surviving the Killing Fields of Cambodia, he spent five years in refugee camps in Thailand and the Philippines before arriving in the U.S., where he initially worked as a child laborer in a migrant camp. Despite these obstacles, Mony persevered, eventually becoming a police officer and dedicating 17 years to the Livermore Police Department. He furthered his education, earning a degree in business management from St. Mary’s College, leading to a successful transition into a career in real estate. Mony attributes his ability to navigate the complexities of buying and selling homes to his difficult upbringing and law enforcement background.
