Episode 4-315: Quotes & Lessons From Old Stories
Quotes and Old Stories provide us perspective that we can learn from. They also seem to take o deeper and new meaning as we have an opportunity to consider them with an increased frame of reference and experience. Let me share a few quotes I have heard recently and found worthwhile as thought provoking and motivating, and then I will share some thought around an old story.
"Do what you can, with what you've got, where you are", attributed to Squire Bill Widener of Widener's Valley, Virginia, in Theodore Roosevelt: An Autobiography, chapter IX.
"Remember That Not Getting What You Want Is Sometimes a Wonderful Stroke of Luck" Dalai Lama
What can the story of David and Goliath teach us about the next generation?
