Episode 5-368: Life Isn't a Straight Line
The other day I was in a seminar session and the presenter made a statement that lucky breaks often come after life detours and that life isn't a straight line for anyone. this caused me to reflect on some recent conversations and thoughts I recently had and that I'd like to share.
First was a comment a friend share with me that was wisdom from her mom, who said "Life is going to life all over you, until you figure out how to meet it head on." We must accept that moving forward requires some effort on our part, and we take that effort.
The other thing I want to share has to do with life not being a straight line. Think of the visual of a heart monitor - a straight line actually represents the absence of life, where as the varied line of a heart beat represents the rhythm of life. Life is not a straight line, enjoy the winding path and take note of the beauty and the gifts of learning along the way.
