Have you ever been in a setting where you didn’t know anyone? How did it feel when someone said hello, welcomed you, and engaged in conversation? How does it feel to enter and leave a setting without engaging?
I want to encourage you to prepare yourself in advance to choose how you might engage, or maybe just being open to engage, to go with the flow, to learn something new and to share something of value with others.
When we choose to positively engage with others, we can all benefit.
