Today I want to talk about the importance of making others feel seen because helping people realize they matter can help to uncover potential and can have a positive ripple effect.
When our presence is acknowledged with positive regard it provides some sense of belonging. And when we feel we belong, we likely feel that we have an expectation to engage on some level.
When people feel their unique contributions are valued and desired, they may be more willing to share their creative, new, and relative perspectives, thoughts and ideas.
Being seen, can increase the diversity and strength of contributions, and can help build connections among people that unleash great potential.
