Difficult Circumstances can be beneficial to our personal and professional maturity. Tough times help us see what we are made of at that time and reveal areas that require our work to develop. Other times, the tough times prove to us that we have what it takes.
I recall a time in my career, where a colleague attempted to sabotage me. The lessons I learned through that experience were pivotal. What was meant to cause harm, actually turned into a benefit that helped to me to better assess situations and also helped me to be willing to accept that things change and sometimes the right thing to do is to let go. Finally, the experience reinforced the importance of asking how an experience might serve to prepare me for the future. I came to understand that there can be a boldness in trying to find what can be taken from a situation that is of value.
When we have the boldness and confidence to live in authenticity, we tap into an energy to more positively impact the world.
