There’s a saying that the squeaky wheel gets the oil. But today I wanted to remind us all that even the fastest race cars need a pit stop for the win.
In order to maintain the ability to perform at high levels,
it’s important to intentionally plan and nourish development opportunities for ourselves, and those we lead. When
we are proactive about maintaining and driving performance, we can intervene in advance, to avoid significant issues getting in the way of progress.
So, take on the pit crew perspective, and gear your best efforts toward high performance the things you want repeated that help you and/or your organization to grow.
