Episode 6 – 477: Managing Change
Let’s talk about change being manageable
Though change can be uncomfortable, it is manageable. To
manage things it is important to identify what we are working on. When managing change, acknowledge how the change is impacting you emotionally and why.
Then understand the things that you would like resolved in order to break down the resolution into more manageable milestones. While we are ultimately responsible for our own change, having a support system that could be friends, family, mentor, therapist, coach, clergyman, doctor or other, can help you to manage the progression of the changes you are trying to make. Finally,
be patient with yourself, as change is really about the process of getting to the desired state. Change is always happening
in some form.
Keep in mind that all of us are going through some type of
change, and the more we acknowledge and embrace the change, the more we can use change to our advantage.
