Episode 6 – 489: It’s Your Choice
Let’s talk about Personal Responsibility
Everyday we have the opportunity to choose how we will respond, what we will do, how we can help ourselves, help others. It’s important to realize all of the choices we have each day. Sometimes we can feel like the choices we have made in the past limit us, and while that may be true from one perspective,
sometimes our limited choices serve as a focus to help propel us in another direction.
The choice we have allows us to compound negative, positive, and to make a complete turnaround. I am often encouraged by the stories of overcomers who have taken the lessons learned in had times and shared them to help others make more informed and better choices.
All of the choice we have demands we take personal responsibility. We cannot control all of the circumstances of
life, but we can take personal responsibility for how we choose to respond, whether or not we choose to have a learners mindset. We can choose to engage in thought and conversation about ideas and possibilities or we can choose to focus on negativity or focus on the negative aspects of others instead of working to be
better ourselves.
Today, I just wanted you to be encouraged by all of the
opportunity we have in choice. Don’t take your ability to be proactive and intentional about your personal responsibility for your life for granted. It’s a great responsibility to choose to seek out your abilities and use then them for greater collective good.
Choose wisely – we are each responsible for the choices we make and the impact they do – or don’t- have.
