Let’s talk about Proverbs, Chapter 4 Take Aways
Chapter 4 of Proverbs provides insight on taking learning
from those who have more experience and who have interest in our living life to the fullest. Solomon expresses gratitude for the training and instruction he received from his parents. And by valuing and honoring the wisdom his life was benefited.
When we learn from others, it can allow us to better plan for our future. A couple of verse that provide good and memorable instruction are verses 23 & 26.
Verse 23 reads: “Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out
of it are the issues of life."
And
Verse 26 reads: “Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all
thy ways be established.”
Both of these verses remind us that mindset matters and that
individual action is needed to receive, retain, and positively utilize the wisdom and understanding that we obtain.
When we are determined to continue to be steadfast in applying our understanding of wisdom, it can help us to consistently lead lives of purpose and positive impact. When we take time
to be mindful about the direction of our lives, we can be intentional about the actions we take. Utilizing the wisdom that is shared with us, can help protect us and propel us forward when combined wit our intention and taking action.
