Sujata is joined by the amazing Deborah Vick on the show today. Deborah has dedicated her life to The service of others. At an early age she knew it was her desire to be an advocate and spokesperson for people facing injustices. That desire to ensure all people have equitable access to education, food and life necessities helped shape her mind at an early age. She is the founder of VICKtorious, a nonprofit foundation with a mission to empower people with disABILITIES while helping to implement community inclusion programs. Mrs. Vick is married to her college sweetheart and mother to two boys. She is actively involved in her community as an advocate, public speaker, educator and scout leader. Mrs. Vick is driven to help create a path for all people, with special emphasis on youth leadership programs and activities that help create a pathway for those in underserved communities. Mrs. Vick is an international public speaker, leadership development leader and an advocate with 30 years of experience. She is a collaborative author for Absolute Will as well as several articles for The Mighty platform. In addition to her non-profit work with VICKtorious, she is also serving as Ms. Wheelchair CA USA, 2022. Her platform focuses on the Creation of Inclusive Communities for All Abilities. Mrs. Vick believes that each and everyone of us has something beautiful and unique to offer. It is her mission to create spaces that help lead, engage and empower people of ALL ABILITIES.
