Description

Culture In the Craft podcast. Making #createch spaces, diverse places.

We’ve had the conversations. We’ve shared the stories. Solidarity has been shown. It’s time to ask “What Next?” for Black experts in the industries of animation, vfx, VR/AR, games & beyond. Our chat is an honest and open perspective of Afro-Caribbean voices coming at this questions from multiple perspectives. We ask: Can we move forward from this point? How the does the lived experience of the diaspora differ from that of continental Africans? Are we missing out on the true impact of making our own art, stories and creative? Why is it important to remember and preserve our history? There’ll be sober moments, some challenges to the narrative and hilarious comments. We show how the Black experience is not a monolith but truly rich in its outlook. To our accomplices : Listen and Learn. To our fellow community : Laugh and lean in (we’ve got/get you and are going for the long game). Black Lives always Matter.
