Briana Bowley chats with junior Muay Thai fighter, Darcy ‘The Destroyer’ Bleasdale about his fight journey, a crippling anxiety attack that had him pull from a fight and what it has taken for him to make his award winning come back!
Darcy Bleasdale is a young South Australian Muay Thai fighter. Darcy has been training Muay Thai for 2 years, having fought 3 fights – 2 losses and 1 draw.
A silver medallist at the 2018 Muay Thai Nationals, Darcy can also brag ‘Fighter of the Event’ at the 2018inaugural ‘Combat Sports Promotions,’ as awarded by IKBF South Pacific champion, Matthew Stevens.
At just 15, Darcy also works part time training other juniors in Muay Thai, showcasing the extent of his passion for his work.
Outside of Muay Thai, and true to his adrenaline junkie nature, Darcy also loves riding motocross and water skiing.
