Briana Bowley chats with V8 Supercar driver, Todd Hazelwood on all things high performance mentality and what is really required mentally, emotionally, physically and financially to be a high level supercar driver.
Todd Hazelwood is a V8 Supercars Championship driver, racing in the pinnacle of Australian motor sport at just 23 years of old.
In 2019, Todd will race Jamie Whincup’s Holden ZB Commodore, which secured six race wins last season.
Racing with Matt Stone Racing, the team will enter their second Supercars Championship season with Todd, in what will be a bigger and better year for the team. MSR will also have a technical alliance with reigning Supercars Team Champions Triple Eight Race Engineering.
Hard work, determination and sacrifice are three words that describe Todd’s journey to the Supercars grid with the young racer starting his career at 7 racing dirt karts in Adelaide. Since 2003 Todd has achieved championship wins across the board, from go-karts to recently winning the second tier of Supercars racing, the Dunlop Super2 Series.
