In this two part conversation, Briana Bowley chats with Guerrilla Fight Club founder/head coach, Barossa Blitz Match Maker and Muay Thai fighter, Patty Browne on all things fighter-coach dynamic and what it is to tailor warfare to an individual.
Patty Browne has been involved in Muay Thai on and off for 17 years. With 10 years on the scene as a fighter, 12 fights under his belt and the title of former WKA state champion, Patty has fought some of South Australia’s top fighters.
With the ongoing battle of injuries and his last bout 5 years ago, Patty has been committed to coaching for 3 years, starting his own gym, Guerrilla Fight Club in Kapunda in April 2018, before relocating to Gawler South in January 2019.
As matchmaker for the re-launched Barossa Blitz fight show, Patty lives and breathes martial arts and has confessed that it’s all his thinks about day in and day out.
