When you’re in the storm, are you focused on Jesus?
Hi! I’m Valerie Riese, and the Bible says that when Peter focused on Jesus, Jesus gave him both peace and dominance over the storm that were beyond understanding. Until Peter again focused on the storm and then his capabilities were just like everyone else - terrified and helpless to do anything.
The storm is going to rage matter what. Are you going to sit in the boat paralyzed with fear? Or are you going to focus on Jesus so that He can give you His peace and ability to handle the storm in a better way? I need to remember this when my storms rage and I hope it encourages you.
