For today's episode, we're not just covering one film, but THREE as Miles leads us through Ralph's Bakshi's first three adult-oriented animated films. In the 1970s, Bakshi brought out a new style of animation that challenged what many had understood the medium to be.
With Fritz the Cat, he created one of the most successful independent feature films of all time. With Heavy Traffic, Bakshi combined animation and photography/film in a way that hadn't been done, and with Coonskin, he satirized the blaxploitation films of the 70s.
