There are many things that happen in a person's life that seem pre-determined. Perhaps there is even an argument that all life is pre-determined.
If this is so, then how does self-awareness and even this self-enquiry fit in?

We both claim to be truth sayers.
We both have spent the last few months in LA on retreat.
Most importantly, though, we both despise each other.
