Hi everyone, this is an update on episode #23 which talks about how the Amazon Rain Forest is being murdered through the fires and other activities happening within Brazil. The G7 met at the weekend, well G6 really as President Trump didn't attend the meeting, and pledged £18m ($22m) to help combat the fires burning the Lungs of the Earth. The Brazilian President, Bolsonaro, has refused the offer because he wants an apology from President Macron of France who called him a liar when Bolsonaro said he had nothing to do with the fires. Now, however, the South American countries will meet on 6th September to discuss the crisi and Bolsonaro has also accepted Chil's offer of fire-fighting planes to help put out the fires. So, a very positive step forward - oh. I also go off on a tangent!
