Industrialized farming was introduced in the 1960's to feed the nations, to make food more available and cheaper - but at what cost? Today huge corporations, such as Monsanto and Bayer, benefit greatly from the pharmaceuticals they've introduced into farming practices as well as the "new" market for Genetically Manipulated Organisms or GMOs. How does that affect the farm animals and crops, the food we eat and us ourselves? That's what I explore in this episode.
