Pencils, teachers, and high-stakes testing--Oh my! We retreated from the Geek Mountain this week to discuss a more obscure topic: tests in anime! With numerous anime in high school settings, we realized many students don't take a lot of tests or at least many episodes focus outside of the testing environment. But, others actually have tests as a main plot point! We relate testing in anime to own our high school experiences in effort to make sense of it all.
