late I know time flies
Your little head will be so busy as you’re drinking, your coffee
goes cold, you get dizzy, can’t stop thinking
Go see everything’s good mark it with an X, Double G will
always be unable to breathe until she checks
Back she goes to load up the car, try once more, hoping
nothing goes wrong before she closes the door
Yes that future has been so close she could taste, like over
ripe fruit, oft times those plans went to waste
Persevere and try to maintain composure, this is one chapter
that will be an enjoyment to give closure
But we both know there’s only one way you can keep, that
promise requires rest, baby get some sleep
And kiss me in the morning!
