Damn
Cracks in the mirror, six views of a broken face reflecting
Things seemed so clear, got muddy when I started inspecting
Run your fingers on the edge, careful not to cut your finger
No time for jumping off the ledge, close your eyes turn off
the ringer
There’s a perfectly good explanation, wait for the full
story
Save the doomsday machination, or you’ll just end up sorry
Hard to steer the car from in back, don’t be afraid to grab
the wheel
Fingers bleeding from rubbing that crack, sometimes the pain gets too real
Chill the water, and make sure the glass is clean, time to
erase this pain with a spark
I’m tired of all the troubles we’ve seen, fix your eyes on
the glowing cherry in the dark
Exhale and tilt your head back and smile, could be worse,
maybe once more in the fire
Do my best to forget about this curse, close my eyes and
dream of swinging the tire
Tomorrow’s another day you know, no way it could get worse than what we’ve seen
Wash that finger, bandage it before you go, hurts now,
but it gets worse if you don’t keep it clean
Damn
