I bet they would care
There are days I wake in pain stiff and sore, but these days I don’t say a word
Too many people are suffering with bigger problems, things seem so absurd
Teardrops are falling like a steady rain from every corner of the earth
Lost lives, lost homes, paid to keep peace where NATO says it’s worth
Giving more than a crate of rifles, their best wishes and a slap on the back
This war is bigger than Ukraine there’s a genocidal madman on the attack
Time has come to make a few threats of our own
Make sure his people learn the truth and are shown
Hack their internet, let the people see the news from everywhere
Let’s make sure they know the truth, cause I bet they would care
Yeah, if they knew the truth, I bet they would care
Bring down the bear! Cause he won’t stop there; Lithuania is in his sights
Latvia and Estonia too! He will continue to bully his way and remove the rights
Those countries and their peoples, as in Kyiv and elsewhere stripped of all
The writings, artwork, inventions, investments, Russia rises while they fall
Putin wants to erase their existence; he dreams of rebuilding the Soviet empire
While anything in his path gets trampled and destroyed as he sets them all on fire
Time has come to make a few threats of our own
Make sure his people learn the truth and are shown
Hack their internet, let the people see the news from everywhere
Let’s make sure they know the truth, cause I bet they would care
Yeah, if they knew the truth, I bet they would care
We don’t need to toss any bombs or level anyone's home
Just agree to respect each other's right to breath and roam
Yeah, if they knew the truth, I bet they would care
