It’s okay to cry
Days are not always filled with laughter
Some make you nervous about comes after
Sprits high, we embrace loved our loved ones
Tears fall when suddenly we can share no more suns
We struggle to understand
Blank stares, wringing hands
Shout out to no one in particular “Why?”
Don’t worry how it looks, it’s okay to cry
News is hard to watch, so heartbreaking
Seeing bombs drop, maternity ward shaking
Children are dying, buried beneath the blocks
All so the Russian madman can gain access to the docks
We struggle to understand
Blank stares wringing hands
Shout out to no one in particular “Why?”
Don’t worry how it looks, it’s okay to cry
Back home praise is lauded by the sycophantic fool
Who just four years earlier was the bears favorite tool
Obsequious MAGA heads who follow his every lead
Ignore his idiocy and pine for him to fill their every need
We struggle to understand
Blank stares wringing hands
Shout out to no one in particular “Why?”
Don’t worry how it looks, it’s okay to cry
Just let it out and clear your mind
Be it bad news or people who are unkind
Don’t worry how it looks, it’s okay to cry
