We have gone down so many hallways, a maze of doors locked
and stopping us cold
Third time round the sun losing fall days, another summer
runs too fast to grab ahold
If it wasn’t in your mind playing tricks, it was something
dropped dead in our tracks
Thought it might be too much for us to fix, with an ever-closing wall against our backs
We looked into to each other’s souls,
