Snapshot of a dream
The sun is shining bright, breeze is light, not even a cloud in the sky
It’s a day for one man to be treated like a king and it turns out I’m the guy
You might think I’m just crazy and imagining things, but as silly as it might seem
Since the day you walked into my life, it’s all become just a snapshot of a dream
I open my eyes in the middle of the night, what a glorious sight lying next to me
My baby she glows, from her cute little toes to the tip of her nose, it’s such a sight to see
I wake up with the birds, bake some muffins, bring them to my love with her coffee and cream
Save the film, I don’t need no camera cause my baby she’s just like a snapshot of a dream
Well, you can look high and low
Buddy trust me cause I know
There’s not another woman in the galaxy see
Just the slightest move and she attracts me
I feel my girl from a hundred miles away
Nothing has ever made me feel this way
I could draw a picture of everything I ever wanted, or better, dreamt to exist in my life
That seaside mansion, rolling hills and there to greet me at the door my perfect wife
Or I could realize the fortune in memories that surround me, and the one thing that makes me beam
The pride, the joy, the love as I gaze upon you honey, my life is just like a snapshot of a dream
