Days turned to weeks; pain expanded
While desire pushed back and demanded
The touch of your skin pressed ever so tight
Those eyes, gazing at me awash in delight
Times we cried, reached but couldn’t touch
Longed to launch into an embrace so much
Those days and nights alone babe we severely struggled
But the entire sad affair was gone the second we snuggled
