So hard to choose

Bobby put on his best jeans, headed to karaoke night to be a singer

Hoping to run into a sweetie at the club, he was looking for a swinger

Caught her eye and took her home but she scared him silly when she began to brachiate

Across the living room, but her kind of bananas was a little too much for this man to date

All of us remember when things were not this difficult or strange

Finding friendly faces, meeting new people was not that hard to arrange

These days I take pause when someone says you’ve not nothing to lose

Kick it by myself or take a chance again with my heart, it’s so hard to choose

Nora never needed nobody, nice to not to do nothing to impress no one

She saw Bobby make a fool of himself that night, laughed but something had begun

What’s happening to me? Why am I drawn to this sad wanna be?

But two weeks later with a doo and a mani pedi she went back to see

All of us remember when things were not this difficult or strange

Finding friendly faces, meeting new people was not that hard to arrange

These days I take pause when someone says you’ve not nothing to lose

Kick it by myself or take a chance again with my heart, it’s so hard to choose

Bobby and Nora hit it off from the jump, and now they laugh at the early days

Feeling happy to have beaten the odds, dancing as the music plays

No more sitting in a bar, trying to act like it’s really what you wanted to do as you fight a yawn

No more one-night stands, no more hurrying home before dawn

All of us remember when things were not this difficult or strange

Finding friendly faces, meeting new people was not that hard to arrange

These days Bobby and Nora spend each night watchin sunsets life on auto-cruise

For a chance to fall in love and share time just like these two, well it’s not so hard to choose

Yeah, it’s not so hard to choose
