Someday there’ll be laughter
Shots and pills , got nausea and shits
Bombarded by a pain that never quits
Lying in the basement captivated by a cobweb in the rafter
He keeps telling me loves me, smile someday there’ll be laughter
Aches and disillusioned, radiate me till I glow
The answers an hour away but I’m unable to go
I fall asleep with nightmares about this mess and wonder what comes
after
He kisses me via FaceTime and promises someday there’ll be laughter
There will come a day
Obstacles cleared away
You will be at my side holding hands into the great hereafter
No more sad eyes, we got this, yeah someday there’ll be laughter
What we thought was so bad
Were just some struggles we had
Along the road to happiness and living happily ever after
Wiping each other’s tears and everyday sharing love and laughter
