Been trying to get my feet in sync
See I just never dance unless I drink
Stumble sober, drinking I’m light as a feather
Who needs a shot? You and I stepping together
Suddenly Ginger and Mr. Astaire
Look a lot like us dancing out there
And like Gene Kelly swinging in rainy weather
Seems nothing can stop us when we’re stepping together
Looks like this is end! The bottom’s fallen out again!
These two meld and waltz right through hell my friend
So, cue the band and let us do the fox trot forever
Jamming to any beat as long as we’re stepping together!
