Stress
Strutting along with a whistle, stubbed my brain on a thistle one that I thought I weeded
Aimed to get to the lodge, get myself the hell out of dodge and I thought that I succeeded
Yet it turns out I’m weighed down by bags, my mind constantly drags brings out another mess
Lost and I’m spilling out pain while I’m just trying to contain the never-ending mind-numbing stress
Check your ego near the door, don’t drag your dirty feet on my floor, we want to keep this place clean
Don’t jump to conclusions, mind the plants, knock them over, kill the chance for a bloom as pretty as you’ve seen
You don’t need to be a florist, or sing solo join the chorus and sing with me as we bless
The bud that opens and radiates, let all the joy that it creates help to ease your stress
Baby I love you and I want you to whistle some more, sunrises and smiles in store, listen as the bird sings
Nightfall and moonlight, embracing making it alright, could we ask for more than the loving feeling it brings
To you I bare my soul and give my all, hold my hand I won’t let you fall, clean, dirty, or a total mess
I love you babe to the moon and back, always here to help get it on track, anything you need to ease your stress.
I love you honey!
