Scriptures reviewed: I Cor. 11:31-34 (and portions of verses 27-30 from previous week)
Discipleship points: (1) The Holy Spirit does not cut off a believer, especially if a believer does not understand a scripture or principle. He works with believers. (2) Most believers do not know what many of the statements in verses 27-30 mean; the program addresses this point. (3) Multiple Bible verses say God heals us, delivers us from destructions, gives us strength and long life. Verse 30 says many are weak, sick, and die early; Verse 30 cannot refer to believers since they contradict dozens of other verses. (4) The conclusion is those who need to discern the Lord's body and refrain from Communion are unbelievers!
