Discipleship Points: The Christian marriage model: husband is leader, husband loves wife, and wife submits as is fitting in the Lord. Children are to obey their parents, which pleases the Lord. Fathers must NOT provoke their children, lest they become discouraged. Two testimonies were shared, one from Dog the Bounty Hunter and one about the Manson family. The Bounty Hunter noted that every violent offender in jail had been beaten by their father. The fathers went beyond regular, healthy discipline.
Children are to obey their parents, which brings blessings. Fathers must NOT provoke their children, which can cause them to be discouraged.
