Discipleship Points: Many scriptures show God was not excited about the annual sacrifices. The Word also is clear that by the deeds of the law no flesh shall be justified. Justification comes by faith; if those of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise of no effect. The parable of the Lost Son illustrates how God now accepts those who strayed, giving them the sandals that represent possession.
