On October 17, 2017, I bounced into a nicotine cessation website where groups of nicotine users were gathered in 30 day increments to begin a nicotine free lifestyle. We walked the cold turkey "Quit" path together, and with the help of others further down the path, some of us succeeded. One of the first guys I met was Jim A, also known as Colonel_No_Cope, later shortened to The Colonel.
Not only a combat veteran and retired Army Officer, but a veteran of countless battles with the nicotine addiction.
