On #TheUpdate this Monday, hospitals in the Bronx are working around the clock to save the lives of multiple people that were gravely injured by inhaling smoke in a fire that was the deadliest the city has seen in nearly 30 years. Dozens are still hospitalized, and as many as 13 were still in critical condition after the fire that killed 19 people, nine of them children. The culprit? A malfunctioning electric space heater.
More than 800,000 noncitizens and "dreamers" in the city will have access to the ballot box we soon as next year after Mayor Adams allowed legislation approved by the City Council to automatically become law. We're remembering Bob Saget, the actor and comedian best known for his role on "Full House" and host of "America's Funniest Home Videos". He died at the age of 65, according to authorities in Florida. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use.
