On #TheUpdate this Tuesday, it's the first warning sign that things are going back in the wrong direction. Masks are again required indoors in Erie County because of a spike in COVID-19 positive cases and hospitalizations in the region. Starting today, anyone age 2 and older must wear masks at all indoor public locations: from bars and restaurants to grocery stores, to gyms, fitness centers, and everywhere else in between.
The legislative investigation into former governor Andrew Cuomo dug deeper, and found in their report made public yesterday there was "overwhelming evidence" that Cuomo engaged in sexual harassment, and also ordered state workers to help produce his book during work hours. And the suspect in the Christmas parade crash in suburban Milwaukee that killed five people was freed on just $1,000 bail posted just two days before the deadly event. It's a fact that's leading to a review of what happened and renewed calls for giving judges more power to set higher bails. Legal experts are cautioning though that it would set a dangerous precedent. 💵⚖️
