The capacity of the medical system in America and across the world is the reason governments and people are worried about the spread of the coronavirus. They will blame “free market” healthcare of course, and say the solution is government run healthcare. They are wrong! Since this is a supply and demand issue, supply of hospital beds, and demand for hospital beds, a true free market is the only solution.
