Philippians 3:17 - 4:1,

Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Therefore, my beloved and longed-for brethren, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved.

What our life revolves around will determine our characters and our conducts.  In the last days, there will be more challenges and trials that we might face. We all need to be prepared, to not sway away from the truth and lose focus on heavenly goal that God has prepared for us.  In an installment of the “Philippians Sermon Collection”, Pastor Heath Flanagan reminds us in the talk “Mindful of the Last Days”, that in the last days it requires us to know the path of our feet. The sermon will be taken from three things that Paul wrote in his letter about what we should take seriously, they are: Patterns, Pretenders and Perspectives.  Life may often feel like a war zone with tons of danger signs, traps, obstacles, and debris. It may seems really hard, especially when we are still in that zone. However, when we feel that way, let us remember that we, as children of God, are not alone. He is with us in every situation, in our ups and downs and always ready to give us a helping hand.  For that, thanks to God for His faithfulness and love. Let us not lose our focus, not give up, set examples for others, and remember that He is our very great reward.  Jesus loves you all!  #sundayservice#onlineservice#phillipians#lastdays#cross
