We all can get so distracted in our daily lives that we lose rest; we become more and more restless as we try to quench our impulsive desires in life, such as wealth, higher status or even love. This world will submerge us in a constant striving to search for more, but never be satisfied. Continuing the Portraits Sermon Series with the sermon titled, "The Waterpot," Ps. Heath Flanagan explains that there is an offer from Jesus which is able to satisfy all that we desire. We will learn this from the story of an encounter between Jesus and a Samaritan woman from these three perspectives: Her Embarrassment, Her Desire and Her Burden. Instead of being driven by our worldly desires, we can surrender all of them to Jesus and give Him ownership of our lives as He is able to fill us with living water that never disappoint, and never fails.
