In this episode of "Who Is with Ross Oteri," Ross Oteri sits down with the director and cast of King Musu. King Musu is the story of Etnasa, an African agrarian kingdom that enjoyed peace and prosperity until calamity struck. In the king's quest to uncover the root of this calamity, hidden truths about the inescapable will of the gods come to light.
Ross talks to director Stephen Oppong about where his love of theatre came from and the deeper socio-political subtext of King Musu. Saif Alwash (Orudo), Mary Jim-Akaya (Queen Abadae), Kanyiri Njoroge (Anooke), Harmela (High Priestess), and Ross Oteri (King Musu) talk about how they got involved with the play and share some of their favourite and funniest moments. Finally, Stephen shares details about his new non-profit: the Akofena Afro-Theatre Society.
