Malia Warren was born and raised in Lompoc, California. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice in 2009. After working in the field for a few years, she realized she needed something less stressful and in 2015, she taught herself how to screenprint. The goal was to start a fun, fitness inspired line of apparel, which is how Lifting the Dream was born. Since then Lifting the Dream has evolved into the super fun lifting gear brand that it is today, focusing on making the world a better place to lift through inclusive, fun, and supportive lifting gear for people of all fitness levels.
