In this special episode we're joined by Phil Werz, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Pinehust, Southern Pines, and Aberdeen Area Convention and Visitors' Bureau to discuss this week's Men's U.S. Open Golf Championship which will is being played at Pinehurst #2.
Known as the Home of American Golf, PInehurst #2 is hosting the U.S. Open for the fourth time. It's inaugural Open occurred in 1999 and was won by the late Payne Stewart. This year's tournament marks the 25th anniversary of Stewart's win as well as the 1,000 all-time USGA Championship.
Werz takes us through a rapid-fire tour of all that is Moore County during our 15 minutes with him.
