Description

Believe it or not, we're just about five months away from the start of the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano-Cortina in northern Italy.

To help us get in the spirit and - perhaps - make some travel plans to attend the Games, we're rejoined by Olympic superfan, Ken Hanscom.

Ken, who's attended every Olympics allowing full fan participation since the 2012 London Games, first joined Conversations shortly after the conclusion of the 2024 Paris Summer Games (S:3, E:44). In this episode he shares the lay of the land as the world begins its final push toward Milano-Cortina, offers some tips for those who may be planning to attend, and encouragement to just do it for those considering the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Games.

You're able to find Ken on X (@KenHanscom) and Instagram (@TheKenHanscom). He also is the curator of a pair of Facebook groups: Milano Cortina 2026 Planning & Preparation and Los Angeles 2028 Planning & Preparation.
