Description

In this episode, Nathan and Brad continue their series on employee interviews by talking with Jocelyn Johnson. Jocelyn shares her story about how she came to work for Baba Java Coffee after having a relationship with BJC in a different capacity. Her unique journey from corporate to small business is definitely worth the listen.

"I mean starting a small business obviously is not for everyone but it is so....one of the reasons is because...it is so lonely," Jocelyn said. "You can be really isolated in starting this. So, to have this guy reach out and offer more than I asked, I was like wow, ok. Maybe there is support out there."

Nathan is the president and co-founder of Baba Java Coffee. He founded Baba Java Coffee alongside his son, Joshua Parvin in 2017. Nathan serves as the big-picture visionary that pioneers strategic growth in all internal and external Baba Java endeavors.

Brad is the Vice President of Operations and long-time close friend to Nathan. Brad inspired the business concept at the very heart of Baba Java and continues to instill their values in day-to-day operations. Without Brad, Baba Java would not exist as it is today.

Jocelyn is the inventory coordinator for Baba Java Coffee among many other roles and responsibilities. She pioneered Baba Java through the organization of The World Games and continues to serve as a loyal and reliable employee at the café.
